From a photographer's perspective, black and white photography is not just about removing color but about distilling a scene to its visual essences, such as light, shadow, and form. It challenges me to manipulate light and shadow to mold the mood and narrative of the image. Black and white imagery strips down distractions, highlighting the timeless, universal emotions embedded in the subjects, often making the viewer's connection to the image deeper and more reflective. As a result, each shot becomes a study of artistic expression and storytelling precision.
